Our theme is apples. Johnny Appleseed's birthday is Monday, Sept. 26.
Reading-Our book is "Bear Wants More." Our amazing words are: hungry, full, nibble, snack, lunch, and den. Our skill is "character. Our letter for the week is L. We will have Show & Tell on Tuesday, so your child may bring 1 item that starts with letter L (lion, lollipop, etc.).
Math-We are working on counting objects to 5, doing simple AB patterns, sorting, and positional words.
Science-Our book is "Science is Everywhere." We will learn about solids, liquids, and gases. We will do some experiments from our science book. We will also incorporate apples into our science lessons.
