The current Ada High School building was completed in the summer of 1969.  Teaching stations include eighteen classrooms for academic subjects plus twenty specially equipped spaces or laboratories.  The latter includes science (three lecture labs), business (two special labs), shop room, family and consumer science department, drafting room, art room, diversified occupation, physical education building with multipurpose room and two locker rooms, and library-media center.

Supporting areas include Administration and counseling offices, a Student Center, locker bays, health room, journalism room,  cafeteria, and several preparation and storage rooms. 

The voters of the district approved a bond election in April 2000 to construct a new field house and auditorium on the Ada High School Campus.  Construction was completed in 2003.

The School colors are maroon and white.

Ada High School is a member of both the National and Oklahoma Honor Societies.  The grade requirement for eligibility for National and Oklahoma Honor Societies is 3.85.  Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are eligible for National and Oklahoma Honor Societies.


Ada High School is pleased to announce that Peterson’s StudentEdge is available for all high school students. StudentEdge is a free online resource center that simplifies college and career planning by putting everything you need in one location. You have access to test preparation, college searches, a scholarship search, financial aid tools, a career assessment, and a resume builder. Students will also get a personalized to do list that will guide them through the planning process. Sophomore parents-sophomore students have received their PLAN scores.

June 30 is the last day to sign up for Oklahoma's Promise (OHLAP).
